Edubabble and other Blither

Tomorrow I will teach a class to five people, not the whopping six I had thought earlier. One of the participants cannot take the course. Oh, well. That happens, but usually I HAVE MORE THAN SIX TO START WITH! Well, maybe not a whole lot more, but still. When I read the email from the disappearing gentleman who cannot take the class, I just sat there at the computer and laughed. I'm glad I was alone because I think it would have disturbed anyone else around. I had just gotten off the phone with Tripper, who reported that work at the House was not progressing as originally hoped. Of course it wasn't. Of course.

Uncle Wayne has really not moved anything, although he reports that he worked all afternoon and evening recently. Yesterday he was helped by my cousin, who seems to be Uncle Wayne's clone. This cousin gained notoriety, I've been told, by setting things on fire and hurling them out windows while in the mission field with his parents. (His mother is my dad's and Uncle Wayne's sister, whom Uncle Wayne refers to as Queen Jesus.)

Vic still cannot make a decision about certain things-- my dad's fishing equipment, winter coats, etc. "I'm not ready to do anything with that yet," was heard numerous times. Hopefully today will yield greater progress. A carpet scrubber is to be rented. Curtains are to be washed. Tomorrow evening Vic will show the House to a young couple. Please.
